Last Friday, we got two inches of rain over the course of one hour. I had already made it home, but it was the most severe rain I've ever seen in Denver. I knew the rivers must've flooded, and stayed away from them all weekend. Here's what Cherry Creek looked like on Monday during my commute:
There was crud everywhere, even though the path had obviously been swept once or twice already. At my exit at Wynkoop, a city worker was shoveling sand off the path, he had a lot of work to do.
Does anyone have any pics of the actual flood? If so, send them over and we'll post them here.
