My office has a small workout room that I've never been in, facing Cleveland Street between 15th and 16th Streets. Just about every day, I take a right off Colfax and ride by the window of the workout room, where there are four or five exercise bikes (one of which is a LeMond, triple question mark). This morning, there were two people pedaling on the bikes as I pedaled by on my way to work. I made eye contact with one of them, both of us cranking away. I think we had a moment there.
