Liquid Precipitation in December

This morning on the ride in, I was pleasantly surprised to see the broken sunshine aftermath of rain from earlier this morning. As previously discussed, it's been unseasonably warm (OMG! GLOBAL WARMING! STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND BUY CARBON CREDITS!!!), but liquid rain is a rare thing in December in Denver. Most of the puddles had already soaked into the road, but it did make for interesting commuting, the cars on Speer were backed up intersection to intersection (slick roads? I have no idea), and I got to whiz right by them on my cherished bike path. We'll see about that frozen tree branch weather forecast for tomorrow, but it's looking good for the longest running Thursday dinner ride of its type in the Rocky Mountain Region.
