Sunday enticed me with it's glorious sunshine and 60+ degree weather to get out of my house. I needed to get groceries so I figured I'd get out the touring bike and see how much I could lug home. The end result: 41.4 pounds according to my bathroom scale. The woman that helped me pack the groceries into my panniers was a little perplexed by the whole situation, and on the ride my home my bike felt as though it wanted to do a sweet wheelie since it was so heavily loaded in back, but all in all it was a great experience.
