My company pays us 45 cents a mile for any driving we have to do on the job. I hate driving. I biked to the DU Criterium in City Park on Sunday morning to take some photos (like the below one of Will -- doesn't he look fast?), and back, saving 3 miles of driving. Hey boss, that's $1.35 I just saved the company.
Unfortunately, I run primarily on coffee, which retails at about $13.60 a gallon these days, much more expensive than gas, which is only, what, $3 a gallon?
