Ice road bikers

Wow. This morning was a white-knuckle commute. I am happy to report - zero falls. The Cherry Creek path was a complete sheet of ice. Fortunately in a few areas there was a little snow pack to get some traction on. But the on/off ramps... get your death cry ready - those things are insane. I was riding the fixed Karate Monkey and there were times I was just sliding down the ramp. No acceleration, no de-acceleration, and forget about turning.
Word to the wise, take it slow this morning and bring your A-game.
