In my 6-mile ride from my house to Salvagetti to St. Mark's Coffeehouse to the DazBog at 9th and Downing today, I think I saw 20 bicycles, including a group of 6 people all riding cruisers. What a nice day for a ride. Everyone's back, albeit maybe temporarily. I'll tell you what else is back: The giant sweat spot caused by my bag during rides of 1.5 miles or more. I started pulling it over my shoulder when I got a table at DazBog and looked at the bag -- a spot about the size of a dinner plate was there. I'd forgotten what it was like to work up a sweat. I'm sure everyone in the coffee shop noticed, though.
